A black and white photo of morning dew on a dandelion flower head at a close-up view. Dandelion which got its name from french “dent-de-lion" (lion's teeth) is in the genus Taraxacum. In this photo, the flower is in the form of a composite flower head with many identical flowers called florets. This type of flower doesn't reproduce by sexual reproduction, but by apomixis reproduction. That means clonal flowers will be created from seed heads from the flower heads. People usually associate dandelion with something of purity and innocence. Dew on the dandelion flower in the early morning also stands for the refreshness. The poster then brings a feeling of a fresh start in an impressive way with monotone colors.
